With the arrival of the Pacific update and the integration of Vanguard, a range of new weapons have been added to Warzone for players to use and experience.

While this has given the community more options, it’s hard to know which of these WWII weapons is worth adding to your loadout list. While the STG44 and Automaton have stood out as the strongest ARs, it is the MP40 that has become the Vanguard meta in SMGs.
The weapon has a deadly TTK, but it also provides the user with a lot of mobility, which is essential in Warzone when trying to reposition and flank opponents.

However, to get the most out of the weapon, you must pay attention to its most optimal class. We show it below.

With the silencer and the barrel, we will significantly increase the speed of the weapon’s shot while controlling the recoil. These attachments balance each other out and ensure that the MP40 melts down enemies without issues.

In the same way, thanks to the grip, rear grip, and buttstock, we will increase mobility in general while we return to lower the recoil of the bullets. Combined with the scope, this class in Warzone will allow us to devastate where we look.

Regarding the bullets, we have to make sure to get the elongated ones to maximize the speed of the shot again. Likewise, we will hardly need to be aware of the charger, thanks to its number of bullets.

   When it comes to perks, our team uses the standard meta options with Sapper, which protects you from explosions, and Amplified, which increases weapon swap speed, giving you a chance to emerge victorious during intense firefights.
   We recommend taking Excess Mids instead of Ghost with the MP40, as the weapon doesn’t work well at long range, so having a sniper or assault rifle as a secondary is essential.
   To finish it off, we recommend using the Semtex grenade and stimulants to get more health in the middle of a skirmish.

How to unlock the MP40 in Warzone
Unlocking the MP40 in Warzone and Vanguard is pretty straightforward, only requiring players to reach level 16 in the Pacific season.
While we recommend reaching that level in Vanguard multiplayer as it’s quicker, it can be quickly done in Warzone but will take longer.

Alternative

While the MP40 may be the king of the Vanguard in SMGs, the OTs-9 is still the popular choice for Cold War fans. This weapon is deadly at close range and is perfect for players who prefer to engage in aggressive firefights rather than stick to one stance.
