Schuster makes Eintracht Frankfurt courage for Barca
Ex-national player Bernd Schuster has encouraged Eintracht Frankfurt before the quarterfinal first leg in the Europa League against FC Barcelona. The Soccer Bundesliga club no longer has to be aweful of well-known players, said the 62-year-old in the interview of the “Ex-national player Image”.
“In addition, Xavi’s team is still forming and is prone to make a bad game,” clustered, with a view to the fact that Barcelona-Idol Xavi was training the team only since November. Frankfurt receives the spreads of the Spanish championship on Thursday (21.00 o’clock / RTL). The second leg will take place on April 14th.
According to Schuster, who played FC Barcelona from 1980 to 1988, the Catalans lacked the coach change from Ronald Koeman to Xavi for stability over a longer period of time.
“That Xavi still has no stamped, is symbolic,” said the European champion of 1980. For the Frankfurt, Coolness was important in the game against Barcelona. Even standards are a suitable means for a goal success – “Defensive is that for years Barcelona Achillesfer”.
Because of the defensive weakness, Schuster holds the Frankfurter Defense Chief Martin Hinteregger for a suitable player for Barcelona. “The domestic defense is among other things, on which Barcelona has to improve in quality. Hinteregger’s profile would be good to the team,” said Schuster, who supervised as a coach with UD Levante, FC Getafe, Real Madrid and FC Malaga four different Spanish clubs.
