Vicarious Visions could work on the remake of Diablo 2
Vicarious Visions recently merged with Blizzard Entertainment, and they apparently work on a new remake of Diablo 2 known as Diablo 2: Resurreed. Blizzard Team 1 was apparently the project’s original team, the Warcraft 3: Reforged, but this development apparently changed since the merger of Vicarious Visions. Diablo 3 is available now for Xbox One, PS4, PC and Mac.
While the newly merged Vicarious Visions team with Blizzard Entertainment would allegely work on Diablo 2: Resurreed, Blizzard Entertainment also works hard on the next episode of the Diablo franchise. Diablo Immortal is also still under development and tested by some mobile players who greatly appreciate the game, but no release date for Diablo Immortal, Diablo 4 or Diablo 2: Resurreed has been confirmed.
Blizzard Entertainment has not yet confirmed the existence of the remake of Diablo 2, but if Vicarious Visions is the new team working on the title, it seems that it will be in good hands. Vicarious Visions is the team responsible for Remakes Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy and Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 + 2 out on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
Vicarious Visions may only have merged recently with Blizzard Entertainment, but it seems that Diablo 2: Resurreed is his next project, which is important given the experience of the team in the realization of quality remakes.
